Creating new web sites
There are several options available depending on your type of business, level of computer knowledge and whether you would like to update the site yourself.
Basic web site package $680
Good for businesses who don't have a lot of content to put online and don't have an online shop (for example professionals, tradespeople, etc).
INCLUDES: up to 5 pages of text and photos.
WHAT WE DO: We use your supplied logo, colours, photos, graphics and information to get the layout looking exactly as you want it. We add all content, photos, contact details to completely finish the site.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO: Nothing. Just give us a rough idea of what you would like the site to look like, and send us the content, photos & graphics to use.
FUTURE CHANGES: To edit this type of site in the future, it must be updated manually. We can either do this on your behalf for $40 / hour, or teach you to do this yourself if you have intermediate computer knowledge.

Custom designed site (easily editable) $980
Good for businesses who reguarly update products, photos, events or other information online, and have basic computer skills.
INCLUDES: endless pages (if needed), plus other features such as an online shop, photo gallery, discussion forum, newletter or membership management list, or any other similar feature.
WHAT WE DO: We use your supplied logo, colours, photos, graphics and information to get the layout looking exactly as you want it. We help you add content & photos.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO: Nothing (unless you have a lot of content to enter). Give us a rough idea of what you would like the site to look like, send us the content, photos & graphics to use. If you have a very large number of products, events or content to add to the site, we can assist with entering them into the site but this will be done mostly by you (or we can do it for a small fee).
FUTURE CHANGES: To edit this type of site in the future, it can be easily done from any computer just by entering your username & password. The edit pages of the site are very user friendly so as long as you have a basic knowledge of computers you will have no problem making updates yourself.

Content management system package (more technical) $400
Good for businesses who regularly update products, events or other information, and have intermediate computer skills.
INCLUDES: Installation of a content management system. If you haven't used one of these systems before, we will also provide some basic information on how to change the appearance of the site, enter content and find plug-ins for extra functionality (such as photo albums) , however the fee does not include us doing any of those tasks as it can be quite time consuming.
WHAT WE DO: We install a content management system (this can be any system you like, such as Joomla or Wordpress). This gives you a blank canvas to build the site on. As mentioned above, we will give you basic assistance with learning the basics if needed.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO: Change the template to get the site looking how you want. Add all content & photos. Add any plug-ins you want for extra functions.
FUTURE CHANGES: To edit this type of site in the future, it can be done from any computer just by entering your username & password. Updating this type of site is a little more complicated than the "Custom designed site" above, so we recommend only going for this option if you have intermediate computer skills
If you get stuck or run out of time, we can take over at any time to finish and/or update the site if needed ($40 / hour or negotiated flat fee).

Other charges involved with setting up a new web site:
DOMAIN NAME: around $20 per year depending which type of domain you would like (eg .com or .com.au). Please purchase the domain(s) directly at: http://whaite.com/shopfront so that they are linked to our system.
HOSTING: $5 / month. Hosting is an ongoing rental fee to keep the site running inside our server so that it can be accessed on the internet 24 hours a day
